My Life Unveiled

MacGyver was my parents' nickname for me because I approach all problems with a growth mindset. This mindset applies to my work as an aspiring photographer and filmmaker. One of my teachers still laughs at the time a fellow film club student and I sped around the school with our camera on a skateboard because we needed a way to create a moving-but-stable shot. I am a second-generation Korean who spent most of my formative years in Vancouver, Canada.

My strengths revolve around commitment and obsession. I am greatly drawn by creativity and engagement in extracurricular activities. My friends often describe me as determined for the unachievable. I strive to achieve what many deem challenging, exemplified by launching my company, “AC Studios” in 2022. AC Studios is a company composed of different departments of stock photography, handcraft epoxy resin goods, and services in computer keyboards. My most recognized products are handmade resin keycaps, which encase scenery from nature or the mind.

My pride is versatility, with a passion for photography, videography, business, arts, and mechanics. “Frutta Boba” is a YouTube channel I created to display my interests in camera work and cooking. This channel encapsulates my achievements of 120+ videos, 238,000+ views, and 1,230+ subscribers. Beyond numerical metrics, the channel embodies my dedication and growth. My pride stems not just from achievements but also from the journey's invaluable experiences.

My life priorities have evolved through time, and currently, I emphasize a holistic approach to personal well-being. Paramount is my focus on physical and mental health, recognizing their impact on approaching new life chapters. Simultaneously, I'm dedicated to shaping my professional life through my YouTube channel and company, aspiring to gain public recognition for my creations. Lastly, friends and family remain crucial for motivation and social life. Entering the next chapter, forming meaningful connections is of great importance.

I have a routine of finding irregularities and patterns in life, which dissolve into my photography. I search for texture, patterns, and irregular compositions in life. Capturing these moments reflects the lens of my eyes, encouraging viewers to be in my shoes. Whether it's the play of light on surfaces or the irregularities found in unexpected places, my photography aims to convey a profound appreciation for the often-overlooked details that shape our perception of the world.
